Crafting skills allow you to create equipment, tools, and consumables. These skills are essential for the economy and self-sufficiency.
Primary Crafting Skills¶
Blacksmithy¶
Forge metal weapons and armor.
Creates:
- Plate armor (chest, legs, arms, helm, gloves)
- Chainmail armor
- Metal shields
- Metal weapons (swords, maces, axes)
Requirements:
- Mining skill (to gather ore)
- Tinkering (to make tools)
- Forge and anvil
Resources:
- Iron ingots
- Colored ingots (if available)
Training:
- 0-30: Practice on ingots
- 30-50: Make daggers, chainmail
- 50-70: Make plate armor
- 70-100: Exceptional items, rare materials

Tailoring¶
Create cloth and leather armor and clothing.

- Leather armor (full suits)
- Studded leather armor

- 30-50: Mountain mining
- 50-70: Colored ore spots
- 70-100: Rare ore veins
Requirements: Pickaxe or shovel
Lumberjacking¶
Harvest wood from trees.
Yields:
- Regular logs
- Colored wood (if available)
Training:
- 0-30: Any tree
- 30-50: Forest areas
- 50-70: Rare tree types
- 70-100: Special woods
Requirements: Axe or hatchet
Bonus: Increases damage with axes
Crafting Mechanics¶
Quality Levels¶
Items can be crafted at different qualities:
- Regular - Standard quality
- Exceptional - Higher quality, better stats
- Masterwork - Highest quality (if available)
Exceptional Items
Higher skill = better chance for exceptional quality Exceptional items have better stats and higher value
Bulk Order Deeds (BODs)¶
Special crafting quests:
- NPCs give bulk orders
- Craft specific items
- Turn in for rewards
- Earn special resources
Repair¶
Most crafters can repair their creations:
- Weapons lose durability
- Armor degrades
- Higher skill = better repairs
- Arms Lore reduces durability loss
